Absolutely love this bash! I've been trying to get a good diamond bash in my International (see profile picture). Having a little trouble getting it just right, though.

I like that bash, Kao. Most Feds you see have a center dent.

Thanks. The Fed is really an adaptable hat. It doesn't need to be center creased, though it does look great as an Indy hat.

I've also got a Federation (III) in Mid-Brown. This shot was from back when it was newly bashed - it's got WAY more swoop to the brim now (and for those who care, it's a Wested Raiders jacket in dark brown lambskin):

I don't know why I don't wear it more. I always think of the color being too dressy but when I look at my pics it seems just as casual as anything else. And even though it's black it is light and not hot at all.

Oh, I think it's ok to replace those vintage gloves for some new ones!

That is very nice looking is it a regular fed or deluxe? I just ordered a brown regular.

What's the brim width on that cattleman? I like that one too!

That's the regular Federation - the old, little-bit-wider-brimmed, "III" version - in Mid-Brown. I believe the new Dark Brown of the Fed IV avoids the slightly greenish cast that this color exhibits under some lighting conditions (though not the mixed flourescents/incandescents of this picture.)
