Talking I just Blocked my first Parabuntal !!

Yesterday I received a vintage unblocked parabuntal hat body, I surprised by the lightweight and how tight the waves are, so I did the blocking, here are some pics.

    The classic parabuntal wave...

It came in a bambu tube rolled like a panama...

    Detail of the bow...

Not bad for a rookie like me...

    Enjoy your hats!!

    Thumbs up Great Pictures

    Very nice!

Can you give us some details regarding crown height, brim width, etc.? Is there a sweatband or are you planning on adding one?

Actually before the blocking the opening was really small, a little bigger that my fist, I thought that never will enter in my hat block, but with a lot of steam and pacience it fixed, is incredible how the straw can expand I use 7 3/8 size hat...

Al, Thanks. Those dimensions are almost perfect. Now we just need to see a picture of you under the hat.

For the record, Tesoro's is an old chain of handicraft stores that is still around today, but they don't sell buntal hats EDIT: anymore
