    Interesting because I use Safari. I wonder if there's some way to prevent the problem though.

    I use Safari, but I only see little blue squares too.

    Very strange -- it's now not working for me on my work machine, which uses IE. I went into the original post and tried pasting the links directly into my browser, and that only brought up a "File Not Found" notice, as if the server was being blocked.

    Any computer-knowledgable folks have any theories on this? They're great pics!

    Now the LOC server is down for me and I see the blue boxes too. Maybe that's why? Let me know if this works (from Flickr).

    Still doesn't work for me...wonder if shorpy has some anti-hotlink feature in place. It would have to be a weird kind that actually allows the pic to display, but only once.
