I'd like to say hello to fine folks here and introduce myself. I stumbled across the Fedora Lounge accidently while searching the internet for a lid for my planet (sorry, I mean my head.. 7 7/8 long oval). Since then I've been back every day trying to read all of the posts. I am now a vintage clothing expert. (ha,ha,just kidding. Still got lots to learn). I've never joined any online group before. Glad to be here Canadave! We of the generously endowed craniums need to flex our muscles a bit more perhaps...are you listening hat makers of the world? Our heads are gettin' chilly...a little help over here!. As for my own meager collection of lids...mostly eight panel caps. The fedoras are: 1 modern stetson size 7 3/4 thats been stretched to fit (it still perches on top of me a bit awkward) and an Akubra Federation. The Fed only needed stretching to long oval.
