    Flightsuits Indy jacket

Does anyone out there own a 44R off the rack Flightsuits Indy jacket that
can provide me with a few details? Normally a 44R or Large jacket fits me
quite well. I have read that the Flightsuits jackets tend to run large. I would
like this jacket to fit a little closer, but I am concerned about sleeve length.
    I normally take a 16 1/2, 34 in a dress shirt. The measurements i am most
interested in are the width of the jacket, zipped, from side seam to side seam
which will give me the circumference of the jacket and the sleeve length, both from the middle of the back and from the shoulder seam. Any help is appreciated.

    I'm 5' 8" and 185 and wear a 44R suit jacket. My off-the-rack 40R Expedition jacket fits perfectly--shoulders, sleeve length. It's a tad long on me for a Raiders jacket but I'm not that tall. I believe Harrison wore a 40R in Raiders but he's 5' 10"

That jacket question would be best answered on the Club Obi Wan forum. Go to Indygear.com and click on the Fourm link.

Tons of info and FS jacket wearers over there.

    Cheers,

I've been to COW with this question. Actually, I was finally able to get the
dimensions from the Flightsuits people themselves. According to the numbers they provided,
a 44R is probably my best bet, although the chest size seems a little large. Other than that,
shoulder width, sleeve length, hip are all in
my proportions. I have an XL in a jacket with many of the same measurements
but I recall having to return the large I received as a gift because it was too
snug. The Flightsuits shoulder width is better than any other leather jacket I
own, my measurement exactly, so I am hoping this will bring everything else into
proper fit. I'ts on order, I'll let you know how it fits.
