    A Day At The Beach

With summer upon us, I have been perusing the various threads at The Fedora Lounge in search of information on going to the beach...Golden Era style.

We do have a few related threads including:
Vintage beach chairs & umbrellas -
    http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showt...ighlight=beach
    Warm weather/Beach attire - http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showt...ighlight=beach
and Vintage bathing suits - http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showt...ighlight=beach

So far we do not have any dedicated thread to Golden Era Beachin', so let's see those vintage postcards, surfboards, swimsuits, etc!

Let's also post recent beach-related news & photos as they pertain to classic Golden Era style, such as this retro beach party from last year:

Whoa!!!! Some of those boards would be impossible to fit into a 34 woodie. If you wipe out and lose control of that board, it'll kill you if it clips you. Those were the days.
