Poll: Favorite Ribbon Width

I tend to prefer from 1" to 1.5" ribbons. Looks good on me. Thin ribbons are great too for a more casual look. I've tried on hats with the really wide ribbons and I just don't like them at all.

And the other "Widebrim" concurs.

I favor the 2" ribbon width and feel it gives a fedora that slightly formal or polished appearance.

It's still very early in the voting, but thus far this one is shaping up to be something other than a bell curve. Interesting -

It did at bit. It's not quite the bell curve we typically see, but it isn't flat either. Thus far 65% are 1 3/8 or more, while only 35% are 1 1/4 or less.

Same as what I posted on the brim width thread. I wear a wide range of styles so all would apply.

Also Borsalino made / makes hats with all different ribbon widths.

Depends on the hat, doesn't it? But generally, I like medium widths, leaning towards the wider side of the center.

You know, I should put up a poll. "What's with all these polls lately?", it could be called. Seriously, I wonder what's up. A ton of polls these last couple of weeks. More than I've ever seen before.

! agree...depends on the hat and the crown height...usually prefer at least 1 1/2...wider of course on my stingy brimmed hats.
