My favourite uniform would have to be the French Foreign Legion uniform from the desert campaigns. I'm not an expert on era's so I will have to say the 'Beau Geste' years.
My favourite Uniform if I could be privileged to wear it, would be any era, British SAS.

I do not support their ideas that they had
But for me the German ww2 uniforms are by far the most attractive ones.

As we have a bit of a thing going for smart German Uniforms, how about this Nazi pin up shot of Michael Wittmann, tank commander.
Very smart in his crusher cap and Lancer button up style

Having served in the danish airforce for 4 years, ending up as a senior sergent, I have to admit that I have had it with uniforms.
But looking at these beautiful chinese female soldiers in their uniforms make me feel better though.
Apparently they are in for a charming offensive, but make no mistake. In accordance to my chinese born wife, there are hundred of thousands female soldiers in the chinese army, all extremely well trained and ready for defending their country.
But a sweet smile always work for me :O)

Loving those uniform pics. There is a theme about WW2 pilots, they always seemed rakish, never buttoned immaculately, yet........
Well this lady portrays it perfectly. She was the darling of the ATA, and she passed away just a week or so ago, at the age of 92.
    Her name is Maureen Dunlop.

Wow Brunswick, you know obviosly a lot about uniforms. I was misguided by Google pictures, telling me all my chosen pictures was chinese military female staff.
My own knowledge here are very limited, but a smiling female soldier can confuse me at anytime :O)
    Thanks for setting it straight
