Ok guys I fixed my camera. Here is what I was referring to at the beginning of this thread. Does it go? Or what color trousers would be better? Would appreciate everyones comments.

I like it Johnny J. Seems to match the pinstripe color well, and the brown shoes complete the look.

Thank you sir. I thought it went well too, but I wanted to see what others here at the lounge thought.

I might try camel and off-white/cream. Is the jacket flannel?

So I suppose a solid dark charcoal(almost black) single breasted coat coupled with dark brown pinstriped trousers are right out then?

They're both lighter weight wool, and the pinstripes are beige and thin.

The beige pinstripes and the light weight wool could go well with a linen sportscoat. Charcoal wouldn't be the first thing that comes to my mind. Would need a picture to see this combo.

I'm waiting for the trousers to arrive in the post actually. Got a good deal on them, but they might only work with my Linen waistcoat. We'll see.

If you looks as good as Cary Grant you can get away with it anytime.

I think the look comes off much better when the jacket has peak lapels. Though I can't really explain why...
