Aureliano, that's Flushing Meadow Park. A nice place to visit. I used to go there when I was a kid. It was the site of the 1964-65 World's Fair.

Thank you, Alan, Rusty and Scotty. The park is beautiful specially at this time of the year. We've been to the site of the fair before, which is across from where the zoo is, in the other side of the parkway. Didn't make it there this time, though.

Blustery today, but the swath of wet snow skirted us to the southeast and we were bone dry. Any day now...

Ale: Gorgeous day at the zoological park, and even more beautiful hat and photos. I could almost feel the warmth of the brilliant sunshine and sense the majesty of the rockets and animals. I so enjoy these types of images as they always bring a smile to my face. Thanks for your post!
