WWll, USA Officer's Tie?

I just purchased the Orvis WWll Officer's Shirt. I really like it. Now I would enjoy having the tie that the men wore with this shirt. Any ideas on where to get a repro or an original?
I struck out on the internet search.

Officer ties are actually the same as enlisted ties. They're the Palm Beach pattern, a single piece of cloth folded thrice to shape to overlap at the back, hemmed at the edges, and made of worsted wool. Summer cotton versions were made for wear with summer cotton twill uniforms.

The Orvis shirt (which has a few inaccurate details, but that's another thread) would appear to be emulating 'pinks' shirts of the era, which were a custom-made item. I have one, they're rather rare. The 'pinks' light taupe shade was limited to officers' trousers...any other item you see in that shade is a one-off custom item of the era and you should snap it up, regardless of size! I personally know one B-24 pilot that had an entire uniform made from pinks material, along with matching service cap!

Best tie to wear with the pinks, if you're wearing the standard chocolate / green officers' tunic, is a green / chocolate tie. They're a bit tough to find in original condition.

My personal opinion is that the pink shirt/pants combo look best with the chocolate tunic and/or A-2 jacket. ALTHOUGH, I am also fond of the khaki shirt/tie combo which was also accurate. Keep an eye on eBay for the green ties, they come up from time to time. Have the WPG repro tie and it doesn't tie as well as the originals did.
