Vintage clothes in the Frankfurt/Mannheim/Heidelberg/Stuttgart area?

Does anyone know of any good vintage clothing stores/merchants/hat sellers in any of the above areas of Germany?

    thanks!

Don't know those places, but I think there may be some in Cologne/Koln which is not that far away, there was also one I went to last year in Warnemunde, near Rostock on the North Baltic Coast of Germany although that is a long way from the areas that you mention. Rgds Steve.

Thanks Stevieboy, I know someone in Koeln: I'll ask them if they know of any shops...

and yes, Warnemunde is indeed quite far from me - further than London is, in fact!

You are welcome, hope you find somewhere suitable, I had a great holiday up on that North Baltic Coast area, great towns and beaches, you should go if you get the chance, I did it by train all the way from London, with the fast Eurostar, Thalys, ICE & IC trains it was possible in one day and far more relaxing than flying.

A relative of mine once managed to get from Frankfurt to Hamburg in two and a half hours by Mercedes (via Mitfahrzentrale). If can do it at that pace it sounds like a reasonable journey.

ah yes...German autobahns. People drive like lunatics here because many places have no speed limit.
We drive at around 170kph and cars are literally flying past us. Must be doing more than 200, easy.

When I lived in the UK you'd hear about 10 or 12 car pile-ups on the motorway. There was a pile-up here recently involving 120 cars! Just how fast do you have to be going for that to occur? Many people died and the heat from the burning cars melted an enormous pit in the road.
