For an upcoming trip where I am wearing all vintage clothes, I've just bought some Mary Kay Cream-to-Powder foundation. Also got translucent loose powder. Have used thes successfully in the past for my vintage look, trying it again.
Otherwise I use a tinted moisturizer by Dr. Gross.

Mine stays put. I just darken a freckle that's just dark enough to be seen through my makeup. I've been doing it long enough that I feel weird when I don't do it. I don't think I look "right." One of these days, I'm going to a cosmetic tattooist and have her just do it for me permanently.
Today: Same as yesterday, only I've got brown eyeliner on. :-P
