In searching for a nice watch deal on eBay, I did notice some similar watches from that area of the world. How well do you rate some of the Soviet Watches? I know nothing about them and stayed away from getting any of them, due to lack of knowledge.

I've had Vostok watches before -- they're actually quite good for the money though for some reason they all seem to run five minutes fast. They're as solid as a T-34 tank.

Sherman: A History of the American Medium Tank by R.P. Hunnicutt (1978)
I'd been looking for this book for years -- it's usually in the $300 price range
Loaded with drawings and photos, many of them from the original army manuals.

I keep seeing people mentioning things they find on ebay in different threads (the tie thread or any of the many things Marc Chevalier finds, for example), and I thought it would be easier if there was a specific thread we could post on to show off what we bought or if anyone finds a great deal. I looked but didn't see one.

Anyway.... here's what I bought recently:

Sycamore is about 30 miles southeast of Rockford
and more or less a straight shot down I-39 from Pardeeville
