    I believe this suit is from the 1940s. Marc Chevalier describes the fabric as "granite cloth."

    Dinerman thats a killer suit in very good condition, it looks unworn! Nice shot SteveAS, the ensemble looks good, some heels on the lady's shoes btw.

    Thanks, esteban. Christina is seldom seen with less than 3" heels. After brunch, we strolled for about a mile along the shore walk and she was fine in those heels; she's a good one!

    I recommend starting a new thread to help identify your suit because:

    (a) Your post can go potentially overlooked in this thread and go unanswered

    (b) "The Thread to Display your 19XX Suits" threads are meant to be light on conversation and heavy on pictures.
