HAT ADORNMENTS: ribbons, bows, pins, pugs, leather, etc.

I thought it would be nice to have a place to show the meany beautiful hat treatments there are. If there are names that are known for bows for example please include them.

    Top to bottom: 2 Resistol late 40s/early 50s, 1 Brent 1950s, 3 Borsalino 40s/50s, Mallory 1930s, Mallory 1950s, Stetson Standard 1930s, Stetson Special late 30s

Perfect timing! I am in the process of ordering some ribbon and attempting to rework a hat that came to me w/o a ribbon/bow. This may give me ideas and examples...thanks!

    No problem-o

For those who haven't had the chance to see a ribbon installation...

How coincidental: I was just about to suggest or post a thread on UNIQUE hat bands--that is something beyond grosgrain in various folds and colors. The reason is that I am awaiting arrival of a sterling silver decorative band and need some guidance on how to mount and care for it. Here is the auction, and I am convinced that I stole it, simply based on pricing of any added silver conchos or ornaments from places like Ritch Rand, etc.

Any experience with these is welcome. Thx.

Since it's still Tumwater Tuesday, my TumH2O ribbons...

Of my custom hats, Art's ribbons are the most elegant, Tony's are the more "in yer face" flamboyant.
