I know there are a lot of fans of belt-backs on the Lounge. Yesterday, I spotted a rather nice belt-backed tweed jacket for sale in London. I didn't manage to get a photo and the shop doesn't have a website, but if anyone is looking for such an item, the shop might be able to photograph it if anyone is in the area). It was a 38 or a 40, came in a beautifully bold pattern and was made by a company called 'Your Lordship' from New Zealand. The font on the label and the purple lining, combined with narrow lapels, made me think late 1960s, but there was nothing more definite. The breast pocket had a curious style of buttoning. It was £65.
