I looking for a setting pattern for the iconic hairstyle of Veronica Lake.

Anyone knows how to do these pincurls to get that hairstyle?

I want to achieve these deep waves too

Not pincurls, but I know Lisafreemontstreet has a couple of videos about getting this kind of hair on her YouTube channel... she does a sort of big fingerwave to get the front part of the hair to do that. Have a search and see if you can find it, I can't remember exactly what it's called.

Hi there, Alchemist! Lisafreemontstreet does do several "Peekaboo Wave" tutorials. This one: http://youtu.be/NAUZhyGnCGc is the one she states as being the most authentically styled Veronica Lake one. It is a wetset, that combines some duckbill clips to put the "wave" in the hair, plus some very large pin curls at the ends to put a bit of curl. She does have other videos (which she mentions) that will give similar results- aka her "Lauren Bacall" tutorial.
