    Newsboys from Real Irish

Does anyone have experience with these Newboys from Real Irish?

They indicate that they're made by a Eddie Doherty in Ireland. I'm in the market for a new one and I was curious about these.

I don't have any experience with Realirish caps. But they look authentic and really well made. In fact, they remind me of a flat cap I bought on the
Aran Islands two summers back. A substantial brown wool flecked tweed. Also picked up a beautiful green tweed cap at Muckross House made by
onsite weavers right there in Killarney.

I believe they mean that the tweed fabric is woven by Mr Doherty.
I'm pretty sure Hanna makes up the caps.
The site has some other caps (8/4 and flat) by Hanna, and the construction details seem the same.

I don't own any Hannas, but if you check the first couple of pages in this thread, and maybe others farther in, you'll see some 8/4 Hanna caps. http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showt...he-Cap-Faction

Noggintops also has Hanna caps, and these look very similar. http://www.noggintops.com/

Since they're using real hand-loomed material on the ones you cited, one would expect good workmanship.

Where is that storied Irish linen now that the warm months are approaching?
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character. -Oscar Levant
