1930's Murder case to be investigated again

Northamptonshire Police (England) may look at 1930 'blazing car murder'. For more than 80 years, an unidentified victim of a murder has laid in the grave of an "unknown man" in a Northamptonshire cemetery.

I'm surprised they couldn't identify the dead man. Their pathologists must have been able to tell when he died. There can't have been very many men who went missing on that day or thereabouts.

Technically, something that happened in the year 1930, would still be considered the 1920s, since the 30s wouldn't start until 1st January, 1931.

That off my chest...this is interesting stuff. It reminds me of the...Barnes Mystery, I believe it's called...where British police recently solved a murder that had been unsolved since the 1870s!
...Where did you get that hat, where did you get that tile? Isn't it a nobby one and just the proper style! I should like to have one just the same as that. Whereever I go they'd shout "hello, where did you get that hat?..."

That's true of centuries. 1900 was the last year of the 19th century, 2000 was the last year of the 20th century. But if you're just saying the 1930s, that's obviously 1930 through 1939. Breathe easy, Fletch.
In other words, 1930 would be the last year of the 192nd decade. But if you talk like that, somebody's gonna lock you up.
