That's nothing. Every car that cost more than a Ford from 1929 to 1939 belonged to a gangster.
It is to sigh. Did you know that everyone who wore smoking jackets in the 20s, 30s, and 40s was in the Mafia? Neither did I.
But it's a very nice smoking jacket.

Obviously not, but that kind of garment has drifted into the flamboyance of the Heffner or Tony Montana realm. "Sport it like a Porn Baron" doesn't quite have the same ring. What surprises me most is that "Mafia" has any kind of positive connotation outside the schoolyard.
It's like taking a 30s German suit like Peter Lorre wore in M and marketing as "Sport it like a Childkiller!!"

Geez, I sort of thought that smoking jacket looked familiar, was it not once worn by Baby Face (George) Nelson? (just joking)....!
Not a bad looking smoking jacket and for a decent price (so far)...

Oh just give ebay some time. We just need an HBO or AMC re-boot of "M" and it'll be added to the pantheon of "Mafia, Gangster, Gestapo, Mad Men, Boardwalk" that is in the titles for all those hats and suits.
