    Wrongly dated Leisure jacket

    The size and dry clean only tag definitely makes this jacket from sometime after the '50s, but it's still pretty classic looking.

    No, that's a late 40s/early 50s jacket. Now on earth could the size be used to date the jacket? And they had dry cleaning back then, shockingly.

    Sorry now I understand "size-and-dry-cleaning" as one modifier of "tag".

    Still, that tag should not dissuade you from thinking something is from the 1940s. Should you ever come across something in a thrift store, say …
