I did a quick search for sell you hair and saw quite a few. This article has a couple of places listed.

I know there are places who take donated hair for wig making, such as Locks of Love. But does anyone know of a place that buys hair? In the past, before synthetics, these were around.
I just measured my hair, it's 37.5" long from crown to end. o.o 4.5" round if I gather a ponytail at the nape of my neck. That's 1 inch less than my wrist.
I am so sick of feeling like I have a horsetail attached to my head, it's so damn long and thick, and I can't put it in a ponytail or bun at all because it pulls on the crown so much. It's down or braids, all the time. I want to cut a lot of it off at this point.
eta- never mind, looks like they simply don't exist anymore. I'll donate it.

Ever changing, rearranging me!!!
I don't want to start a storm or a big flare, but just be aware that if you donate your hair:
A. Many places sell your hair
B. Locks of Love provides wigs to people with permanent hair loss, not cancer patients. Wigs for Kids provides wigs to children cancer patients.
I think it's a great thing to donate your hair, but like any other charitable act, you have to do your research. I've known a couple people who were upset after donating because they found our their hair wasn't going where they thought. Consider that some lengths of hair can sell into the high hundreds (or more) it's a large donation for anyone.
