    New Dickies 90th Anniversary Line

Dickies just announced this line extension of cotton twill clothing using original fit patterns. There's a pair of khakis, a long-sleeve shirt, and an Eisenhower jacket. Not sure about other items or what period this exactly replicates, but it's worth a look. And the price is right. $35-40 for a pair of original fit pants with tunnel belt loops! I emailed Dickies to find out about the period and the cotton content. Not sure if it's 100% cotton or not.

Nice but I guess they don't ship outside the US.

You may know somebody in the US who can ship it to you as a "present"? ... so you can save the taxes
Don´t they have a vintage collection with some more pants and shirts? I think I have seen this.

Thanks for the heads up, Joel.

I have a feeling "Wrinkle resistant; Stain release", including the overall price, indicates there's a bit of poly in the blend, but it's hard telling with the current methods of cotton production. I would think if these were 100% cotton, they would say so. Again, marketing can be fickle.

Either way, these are some cool pants!

Yes, Dickies 1922. Those are a lot more expensive. I own two pairs of the khakis and they're great (I bought them on sale).

The Dickies 1922 says "traditional rise." Where does the waistline on the trousers sit?

Just below the belly-button. It's definitely higher than a modern pair of pants. I don't own any other vintage pants, but I'm guessing this is the correct vintage fit.
