[QUOTE=Johnny J;1475025]I was just real curious after Feraud mentioned leather, so I whipped this up real quick to get an idea, but its not finished yet. I need to get to work on other caps. I do notice that a leather cap needs good padding underneath to keep its shape. This one is sitting over another cap.

I went fabric shopping the other day and picked up a few more colors that I thought would make cool caps:

    Greens:

    Charcoal Melton Grey:

And this last one is like a Melton Black Cherry and I started thinking of Art's felt colors and wondered, "I wonder how a cap in black cherry would do?"

    With flash:

WABASH STRIPE Yes that is the ticket. I saw on the Denimhunters video that someone had made a cap in that fabric. The cap just panned across a shelf and there it was.

Several Japanese companies make them,(if you Google image search it you'll see some drool worthy examples) but I'd like one of our "artisans" to take a crack at it!
