    Awesome 1936 3-piece, W.C. Bullitt, ambassador

The seller mis-read the tag as 1906. $625 would be a high price for any other suit but not for this sleek and beautiful suit purchased and worn by William C. Bullitt, American ambassador to the U.S.S.R. and France in the 1930s.

'Hollywood' waist, he was ahead of his time. Suit was made in England.

William C. Bullitt in France, roughly 1936. Is this the same suit? It looks like it could be.

Beautiful suit, almost my size (arms too short) ... but can't afford it.

This seems to have been his Tailor of choice

I am very very tempted...... It seems to be a little big, but, I can get it tailored.

I was thinking of a different Bullitt.........

What a very lovely suit! Super rare for such a British suit to appear.

I've seen that suit posted elsewhere. It's got the most elegant waistcoat points I've ever seen.
