In time for vacation- fancy braces!
I was just at the Brimfield Ma. flea market and found a booth containing haberdashery that must have belonged to a man with taste and a good sized budget. I couldn't afford more neckties (and i don't need more) but i did snag a great pair of 50's-60's Calvin Curtis braces - they've got cats on a fence under the moon. These will be a hit at afternoon tea in Newport RI...seriously. I also picked up a Trafalgar reissue set in a Santa Claus motif, and an adjustable black silk bow tie labeled BROOKS BROTHERS SIXTH FLOOR SHOP. Total- $50.00 and I'm happy with them.

Hey congrats! Always great to find something nice at the thrift store/flea market/yard sale.
You may wish to consider using this thread for such things though: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showt...ard-sale-finds

I have never attended Brimfield or Round Top in Texas. I am told by those who been there both are overwhelmingly large. Maybe someday congrats.
