Can you help me to find my wedding hairstyle?

I'm getting married in May 2013.

I wanted to wear a 1940s style wedding dress and yesterday I found this dress on the internet:






My wedding will have a shabby chic theme and this dress is perfect for this theme.

The problem is that I don't think that a glamour 40s style will suit the dress. What do you think? Maybe fingerwaves? And for the makeup? Do you think I can wear red lipstick? Maybe a dark red one?

Honestly if you want 1940s I say go with it. But do a style where you hair is down, and the traditional makeup from the time. I think that the very polished 1940s look will look lovely with that style dress. But I like to mix styles.
