    since that 1920s suit sold recently on ebay.uk for £900 i wouldn't be surprised if this sells for that price.

    Stupid prices seem to be becoming more common, somehow. This is a cool suit, but £5k????

    A 1930s velvet evening dress I sold a few years ago for £75 recently sold for a BIN price of £945. Yes, you read that right. I was astounded!
    Def. not worth anywhere near that much, but......

    ...and the trouble is that the more crazy BIN auctions sell, the more it encourages others to give it a go.

    This is very true, HBK. Also start prices on auctions tend to be way, way higher than previously, I've noticed.

    It is a fantastic piece though! Glad I found this link to it. Good to see British kit being as valued as American vintage though I guess I am biased. That said £5 it doesn't go for the asking price! Maybe half the BIN
