    Sears 1923 catalogue states PB suit fabric as only mohair and cotton (roughly 50% of each).

    a 30s PB tie label states rayon (50%), mohair(32%), cotton (13%) and nylon (5%).

    ... so clearly the blend varied, and might not have even included linen, though most people seem to assume it does. in fact the suit that started this thread may not include linen.
