I'm a complete train buff, I've travelled round half the world to take trains. The Blue train in South Africa, The Oriental Express when you could still ride that one, planing to take the Trans Siberian next summer with my girlfriend and I've taken steam trains all over Europe and Africa. It is safe to say that I prefer trains to planes any day. Going by trains your mind get a chance to ajust to the movements, going by plane your mind is still where you started when you land. It is sad to hear that you can't take a decent train ride in the US anymore.Oh to be alive when you could travel on a train in style.... and smoke
