Get to Europe rue! The smoking may be out, but the trains still remain! Did a twelve hour trip through France and Germany this summer in first class, what a great time. Huge windows, plump upholstered seats, maitre d' service, even the food was great!

What I wouldn't' give to see trains come back in north america...where's a railroad baron when you need one?

And if nothing else they are green.

I'm a complete train buff, I've travelled round half the world to take trains. The Blue train in South Africa, The Oriental Express when you could still ride that one, planing to take the Trans Siberian next summer with my girlfriend and I've taken steam trains all over Europe and Africa. It is safe to say that I prefer trains to planes any day. Going by trains your mind get a chance to ajust to the movements, going by plane your mind is still where you started when you land. It is sad to hear that you can't take a decent train ride in the US anymore.
One thing bothers me Baldrick, how did you manage to get so much custard out of just one cat

I think you got some wax in your ears, boy!

That sounds wonderful Steven... I wish I could. Maybe one day

That sounds great. I'm thinking of going on holiday to either New York or San Francisco via Amtrak next year.
