MissJoeri, nice film. I LOVE your sofa with the shelves... Is it comfortable?

p.s. my house was built in 1969. It has many period features. But, I suspect, it would not*be appreciated by the FL. One day, I would love to have a 30s house.

We soon got fed up with the TV spoiling the whole ambience of the room, so we found an old '40's Utility cupboard, and now everything sits hidden away behind closed doors.
Favourite bit is the display cabinet, 75 at our local car boot, they delivered it as well! (I was on my pushbike )
    These are from last Christmas.
I'm in love with this room! It's gorgeous!

I keep missing this thread and when I look there's always something amazing.
Marydeluxe, you really have a great eye. What a great kitchen, very well put-together. What is that backsplash?

Thanks, the backsplash is made from a roll of sheet metal that I picked up at Lowes. I think it's similar to roof flashing. I'm using it to cover up some crappy tile work until I have time to retile! Works for me

Its comfortable but needs pillows to keep my head from getting stuck between 'the a-z of knitting' and 'how to catch a husband'

MaryDeluxe, your home is so cool. Love it!

This is my latest purchase and I am SUPER excited about it. It's in PERFECT condition and was only a hundred bucks!
