    Love those wide trousers and nice velour hat.

    Interesting long, rather narrow lapels on these suits (Iran 1930).
    Quite a contrast with the very high-closing waistcoat!

    It is a black "afternoon & evening suit" along contemporary Central European fashion.

    Floey posted once this 1931 illustration of an evening suit, which described the "high closing" waistcoat.



    An early to mid-30's German evening suit I posted before, has also a very high closing waistcoat. If it would have been a long-lapel two-button jacket, the effect would be quite similar to the photo.
