Very cool Feraud. I presume that the can is a replica prop and the pomade was added later?
Forgive my ignorance, but was there ever Dapper Dan pomade or did they make it up for the film?

Cheers!

Dan

Yes the can is a replica and the pomade added after. I have no idea if Dapper Dan was an actual pomade. A friend just emailed me asking about the can and said he saw "FOP" at Duane Reade. I was surprised to read that!

Interesting. I may have to see if I can find one of those replicas somewhere. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers!

I think Royal Crown or one of those other companies would do well to get the name licensed to them and use it to sell their fine hair product.

That sounds like a perfectly good idea. I'm quite sure the marketing department would have fun with that one. Too cool.

Cheers!

I spent far to much time on ebay hunting down old pomades and have seen Dapper Dan tins on there quite frequently. There's also Dapper Dan ashtrays, clocks etc

I know this is an older thread, but does anyone have a line on a replica of this pomade can?
