The Evergreen Aviation Museum

I am going a very cool museum Thursday. The big attraction is the spruce goose, but I most excited to see a DC-3 from 1936.

www.sprucegoose.org

Here are some pics I took there. You should go if you are ever in the area. I loved and would go again.....probably will too!

Enjoy!

Thumbs up

I had the pleasure of seeing the Goose while it was still in the LBC. Awesome airplane.

That is a HUGE airplane!

I have been to another Aviation Museum out here. I do not remember the name of it, though!

I'd like to go to this one someday

Thanks for the pics MK, Don't know why but the URL link wouldn't work, this one does. How far is this from Portland? I hope to see in late march.

You know I can't figure out why they moved the bird up there. The site under the dome near the Queen Mary was full of other historic aircraft and memoribilia that made for a great atmosphere.
