Hi all, I am new here! I have always been into 1940s fashion, hair and make up. But I am a real begginner and I want to learn how to wear my hair in this style. Does anyone know a good site for step by step instructions to create 1940s hairstyles?
I have seen the site called Nocturne but it is hard to do without pics as a reference. I am hoping to gather enough info to eventually create my own site for vintage inspired hair, beauty and fashion. I would like to do pin curls and waves like Rita Hayworth. I also like the hairstyle from the cover of the book 1940s Hairstyles. Does everyone create them the old way or using more modern methods like heated rollers? Thanks guys, you all look great in your avatars! ![]() Last edited by moomin82 : 10-29-2006 at 08:57 AM. |
