WAIT, WAIT, WAIT...Why isn't THAT on the best avatar's post? Is that Harry Truman and Bette Davis' heretofore unknown lovechild?

My condolences - losing a pet is never an easy experience. This is my second GSD, she's only 4 1/2, my first one died just before reaching 10 yrs with a splenic tumour. Still miss her - they're all unique personalities, just like us humans. Here's a better pic of my current dog

When laid flat, what is the diameter of that bad boy?

Best Avatar List

,Mike, it need not be on the list because it IS the best avatar. As for what it is you are quite far from the truth. One day I was experimenting with Photoshop CS and came up with this. Itis actually a composite image of our own Art and Janene Fawcett. The Fawcetts just installed a dust collection system in their shop not because of all the felt particles but because that fur coat sheds so much dander that nearly every citizen from Eagle Point way out to Medford has up until now required allergy shots.

Tongue out of cheek aside, kind words and picture of a German Shepherd make my day. A gracious thank you, Silhouette53.

I have the "Baker Boys 10.5 Donegal". Its flat vintage style.

I also have a B!Wear cap which i can also highly recommend, but as it is very soft it will not lie flat on the top of your head.

Got around to taking a couple of photos of the caps.

This is the Classic Caps Company "Baker Boys 10.5 Donegal":

This is the B!Wear cap:
