Any RAF experts... Need help

Hey guys,

Just recently took a shot of this Enfield pistol on display at a local museum. Now, I know this was WWII issue, but if memory serves, didn't RAF pilots normally carry the old Webley MK VI?

Or did they carry either?

Thanks,
Mike

service revolvers

i would suggest making an enquiry at the RAF forum. this topic was debated there once before. i was looking through the old postings there and saw several instances of talks on sidearms.

believe the RAF issued .38 smith and wessons along with the webley .38 for most of the war. the .455 was used but it's an unwieldy monster of a cannon.
