What Hat Are You Wearing Today?
This type of thread has worked well in other places, and I think would be a nice addition here. I'll kick things off.

Akubra Stylemaster in "acorn fawn", a medium-tone brown. I'm wearing brown/cream tones today, and was tempted to go with my very light sand-coloured Campdraft. The fawn won out, though!

I wish I was wearing a hat today; but since I worked today, I went hatless. (the only hat I can wear in my summer job is a cap with the company logo on it, and I'd prefer to just not wear it)
Though tomorrow, I shall be free to go out, and will probably wear either my Bailey soft panama, or my Bailey Ivy cap.

Out at a soccer match today
So I wore a PanamaBob 700+ Montecristi Optimo. Great hat, beautiful day, but plenty hot here in Las Vegas...
Cheers, RC

I second that, RBH. Alan, Douglas and yourself look dapper indeed!
Nice ribbon and blocking job there, RBH. No, scratch that, that's a hell of a great ribbon and blocking job!

Thanks Benny, these panamas are the best to work with. They are really worth more than what we have to pay for them.
Is that your Akubra in your avatar? Cool hat! |

Panama
My first love is Panama so all summer I wear my straw from Panama Bob. But I do have to admit to wearing my new Tropic Aire from Art at least one day a week just because it looks so good.

Since it's been in the 90's w/ High Humidity lately, I've been wearing my old beat up Stetson straw cowboy hat. With dew rag optional.

My PanamaBob Montecristi 200wpsi Havana, or at least I will be shortly. There's an afternoon race meeting so I'm off there in an hour. It's quite warm and humid here so I'm going with linen trousers, linen shirt and Panama, all non vintage but I like them. Wore my Justin 20X bangora this morning while out walking the dogs, I love this hat on warm days the open weave in the crown is great.

Yeah, I got my "Bob" on today, and most days, too. An inexpensive Cuenca that looks sharp!

Just an observation. I've been to San Francisco two times the last two weeks and didn't see one straw. Not a lot of hat wearers, of course, but the one's I saw(in the city) where mostly stingy-brimmed felts.
