The Untouchables

In the 1987 movie the Untouchables, at the end Al Capon's hitman wears an all white suit, was this a unique style for the character or was it an acual style.

I believe white linen suits like that were quite popular back then, at least popular enough to not be unusual.

Ok, I'll take the starch out of you boys! Al Capone did wear a white suit! White suits were very common in the spring and summer seasons. Here is photographic proof that Al had an "ice cream suit" as they were some times called.
