A cool gift from my sister.
She just gave me a very cool luggage trunk that belonged to a lady who came to this country during the golden era. It is covered in a dark brown leather with large grain. It is probably goat or cow. The corners are reinforced with smooth tan leather. It is smaller than the ones I have seen before....probably because she was a young girl when they crossed. The sticker is from a steamer that was a ferry from Denmark to Germany.
I wish it were bigger, but I really love the look of it. ![]()

That's a nice trunk.
I always keep my eye out for old suitcases. I use them for roadtrips. They are great and give the "lived in" appearance. Cheers, Pyro |
