Ivory Dinner Jackets
As I've mentioned before, I'm getting hitched this May and my attendants and I will bill wearing Ivory colored dinner jackets with black slacks. We are going to be wearing black bow ties and cumberbunds too. I just went to register at a tux rental shop last week and was asked if I wanted white colored shirts or ivory colored shirts. My question now is, traditionally, what is the proper colored shirt to wear in this situation, white or ivory?

I'd stick with a white shirt... it will make people notice the color of the jacket.

Yes, white is the color to go with. On the other hand, Ivory would make every thing kind of go together. I don't know, it's up to you.
But, if you want to be correct, white I believe is the one you should go with. Root.
