WWII Posters and stuff
I love old posters , cards, photos, and other things from WWII. I have, but can't find it to save my life, (this is not politically correct today) a "STRIKE 'EM DEAD" machbook. It is a book of matches that says that on the cover, and inside the cover a "V for Victory" symbol. The NEAT PART is the matches are extra wide paper matches, painted like little "jap" soldiers, with exaggerated "features" (glasses, squint eyes, buck teeth) and their helmets are the striker part of the match (tip).
What a collector item. I was wondering if I could find out how to get another.....has anyone seen this type of WWII item? Nostalgic, but as I said, very un PC. Different times...

WWII POSTER
And here is an example of neat posters.... from WWII they have a theme of the old "loose lips sink ships"..and all that stuff to keep factory workers from revealing any top secret stuff....
