And they KEEP getting drug in....

...I've posted before about all my fun I've been having with my 1950 Plymouth. Well, besides the 1950 Dodge that's now wrapped up and sitting behind my garage, there's a 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster being restored in a frame out restoration in my garage, and yet today a 1949 Mercury Wide Glide being drug southward as we speak to take up residence in my driveway. When it rains, it pours. The Plymouth and Mercury will stay...the Chevy is a ratrod project for a client, and the Dodge a future show car. What next? We don't talk Golden Era around our house.....we seem to live it! Regards. Michaelson

Michaelson,
I know that you like to take just a single yearly photo to post on the boards, but please consider taking a pic of that Merc when it arrives! Be sure to get a shot of it grinning with it's "mouth full o' teeth"!

I will do that for you, PBG. I literally just got off the phone with the youngest daughter, who was at that moment standing in front of her new 'lead sled' up there in a hollow ( or 'holler' for us locals)of Kentucky. All she could tell me was 'it's so purty!'. Lots of work to do to it, but it's all there, and new parts are already on it's way for it's rebuild and 'evolution'. All I hope is that it doesn't try to pass them on the mountain on their way back! I'm not sure how much it outweights their Ford Explorer! Regards. Michaelson

What do ya know, as of right now I am in the process of buying a 1948 Oldsmoble from one of my best friends, no less. All the body work has been done and the chrome shines like new. To make it even better his dad is a certified auto painter!
