Not to argue the straw vs felt debate, again...
I just thought this was a cool ad from 1945. Anyone else have something simular to post?

Great ad, Rusty!
What I really love about it though, is that it answers the question about where "Imperial" fell on the Stetson quality/marketing scale. So, looks like, in 1945, "Imperial" occupied the slot right above Royal Stetson DeLuxe, at $15.00. At some point, probably by the early 50's, "Imperial" gave way to the "3X" designation, which was similarly priced. Happy Felt Hat Day! Cheers, JtL |
