1930s Vintage C Life/Survival Raft

http://www.indygear.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6537

Here is something I picked up on ebay recently. I posted this at COW but thought some folks over here might be interested too. Here is the background I got from the seller:

"Hope you like the item i have had it for twenty years and it was the property of a major general D,Dunlop, who was commisioned in 1916 and retired in 1966,unfortunately i dont know any history about the item you have purchased,I was lucky enough to be able to purchase many items years ago,but it time for some of them to go."

Hey Ken...

So, are you displaying this thing, or what? That is definately a different and pretty cool item to obtain.

Ken, Definately wear gear next time, and have someone take pictures of you. Even if you're gonna get wet, wear the gear over your dry suit. That be a darn nice raft. Wear..er....sit in it with pride LOL
