Madison Restaurant in Long Beach pics

Some pics at the Madison restaurant in Long beach... a real golden era restaurant. Most of the clothes are vintage. Massive restaurant The Jonathan Stout Orchestra was playing that night. I got a few dances in.

The pics are of a group of WWII reenactors I like to hang out with.

WoW

Even the dames wear the 40's style makeup....much different than what you see on the cover of Woman's Day or Vogue. Pity.

Sure wish we had places up here for that kind of night. Who knows, maybe we do and I just don't know about it.

Mostly we have places in SF where guys dance with guys...well you know.

Yes, the Madison is a real nice place! I know that there are some places to see some Big Bands up north in the Bay Area. There are a few places that I can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t remember the name, but I will post the venues when I find out.

Yes, Matt and I know some girls that know how to ware vintage. Any one can were vintage, but it takes work to look vintage! The girls in the photos are into WWII reenacting and have lots of cool stuff. They spend lots of time researching how the women of WWII did their hair and makeup.

That was a fun evening even though I got there late. Oh well.

Take care all!
