Just won this hat on Ebay
I just won this hat made by "Mr. Disney" off of Ebay. I was hoping that you vintage hat experts could give me some feedback on my purchase. I've never heard of the Mr. Disney company but it looks vintage to me with a wind trolley and very smooth thin felt. Take a look: Kyle's new hat
Yes, I will be removing the feather. |

Never heard of a Mr. Disney, but that's a nice looking hat. Good tall crown, and wide brim with what looks like a cavanaugh edge. Like you said, the felt looks thin, too.
Good find. |

well, I've heard of Disney before, but have heard of Mr. Disney only on Ebay. I think it may be the seller. And if you're removing the feather, I'd gladly accept it

Disney, no relation to walt, was a hat maker back in the day. They made decent hats, you got a very good deal. The hat box alone is worth 15.00

Good job, looks like a quality hat. looks like it could be from the 40's based on the hat's design and the clear plastic on the top of the liner.
Gongratulations and show us more pics when it arrives. Last edited by Matt Deckard : 10-06-2003 at 12:22 PM. |
