We might hit 86 tomorrow. That's too hot for me. I like 70 just fine... and my felts get more use when it's cooler!

I'm with you
Anything above 80 I start shutting down
I'm a cool weather cat
Give me 50 to 70 and I'm good to go

Those hats look amazing Roger
Very appetizing

We're headed for 99 degrees this weekend and summer's just getting started.

As I've aged I too have become a 50-70 degree guy. A light jacket and felt is my combo of choice.

I like some clouds and rain personally.

I'm super glad to get these back from Art.

One is the custom, granite, lightweight felt that I had him put a black ribbon on instead of the charcoal ribbon I had on it. I like the deeper contrast better.

The TAR is an OR I picked up from Moon a while back but couldn't wear because the sweat had shrunk too much and I popped the back seam... oooops.

Art installed one of his awesome sweats and it fits like a custom.

Speaking of fit, Art is the master at sizing and getting the dome shape right.

Very nice, Roger. When you get a chance, an interior shot of the OR would be appreciated.

90+ is for sitting on the front porch with a frosty beer and the ballgame.

I'm certain that's what heaven is like.

ballgame on the radio of course

nothing like the sound of a baseball game on the radio with your feet up and a glass of cold suds

The rhythm, the cadence of the announcers, the local ads for products you're familiar with...coupled with the staccato thrumming of a yard sprinkler...

Yeah, that's what summer sounds like.

We now return you to Art's hat thread (joined in progress).

You sir are a true word artist.

You paint wonderful pictures of summer with those words

I think it must be, Jim. Can you imagine all the perfected angels playing ball? LOL, there wouldn't be any errors! And the beer would be perfect, too.... something like a Pilsner Urquell (created before the dark ages, right?) for a crisp lager, or the local McMenamin's Pendulum Porter for a nice dark beer.
