1936 Stout Scarab.

Designed by William Bushnell Stout and manufactured by Stout Engineering Laboratories/Stout Motor Car Company, it is believed only nine units were produced, and with each vehicle being hand-built no two were exactly alike. At a cost of $5,000 (a little over $89,000 today) the vehicle never officially went into production, but it is considered by some to be the world's first minivan.

Rob

Re the car (don't want to get into trouble) is it custom or some small production run of some obscure company?

Re the woman - is she one of the Marylyn Monroe ripoff actresses they had in the '50s - like Mamie Van Doren (or something close to that) - or is she a model?

Oh, and I love the suicide door...on the car.
